Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
It really hit home because I was struggling with an area in our lives that Anthony and I have been praying about and waiting for God to bring to pass. I was frustrated because we are going to have to wait longer and in all honsety I am tired of waiting . I really thought that it might work out right now thinking that the timing was perfect, but of course that was in "my own understanding." So now I realize that I just need to trust Him and stop trying to "understand" the situation- a whole lot easier said than done I might add!! And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
All of this led to the verses below. I can leave it at just trusting in Him because He is God; He knows the end from the beginning; all my days were layed out before I was even born so He knows when this will actually take place; and of course, who better to trust in then the Creator Himself. I truly want His will to come about in our lives in the perfect timing. I just have to keep reminding myself to trust in Him and allow Him to direct my steps.
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me,
Declaring the end from the beginning,
Isaiah 46:9-10a
"I am the Alpha and the Omega,
Declaring the end from the beginning,
Isaiah 46:9-10a
"I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the Beginning and the End,
the First and the Last.”
Rev 22:13
the First and the Last.”
Rev 22:13
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.
Psalm 139:16
A man’s heart plans his way,
But the LORD directs his steps.
Proverbs 16:9
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.
Psalm 139:16
A man’s heart plans his way,
But the LORD directs his steps.
Proverbs 16:9
