We're Back!!!!

Now that more than a month has gone by I figured it was time to update the old blog. We had a wonderful visit with my family. My sister and I had a fall photo opt. We bought matching sweaters in different colors and stood in front of the Mother's Day tree. After we were finished taking the pictures I returned the sweater because I just didn't like the color. Anyway, here they are:


I also got a picture of Julia's cat Sunny meditating on the Word of God. He must have learned a lot that day because he spent several hours do it!

After ending our trip with a quick visit with Anthony' s brother's family and meeting our neice Avery Grace for the first time we headed home. We praised God for safety throughout our whole journey and realized the importance of praying for it around town too. The day after we got back we were driving a friend home and ended up getting into an accident. The Altima was totaled and we have spent the past three weeks dealing with the insurance company and looking for a new car. We now have a new level of empathy for anyone we see on the side of the road dealing with an accident. We are thankful that God brought us through a stressful time and while we were sad to say good-bye to the Altima (I loved that car), we now have a beautiful 2004 Mazda Tribute. I will post a picture when I can remember to take one of it. I always remember at night, so hopefully tomorrow I will remember during the day!!
