Washington in North Carolina

I realize that Amanda and Mark will probably be the only ones to appreciate this post! Anyway, the kids and I spent much of this week preparing for the book fair Open House at school last night. We had to decorate our rooms in the theme of "Exploring America." I decided that we would do Washington because Anthony and I went out there this summer and had a wonderful time. I didn't realize how much work it would take in order to transform the room. Below you will see our attempts to make some of the sights we got to see. Keep in mind that I allowed the 5th graders to construct most of it!!!
