Did I Make You Wait Long Enough?

I'm enjoying the second week of track-out and have been out of town up until yesterday. I spent some time in Lake Placid with my parents and sister. It was a nice treat because I finally got my cold, snowy weather since we didn't go there for Christmas. You can see below that winter is still in full swing there.

I came home for a day and then Anthony and I went to Pigeon Forge, TN to spend a long weekend with three other couples from the Seminary. All of the husbands are music ministers so you can only imagine what our conversations were like after church on Sunday!

We had a great time, but it is also great to be home. I think I've made you all wait long enough for the real reason that you are reading this post. We found out two weeks ago that we are having a BOY!! It's been so much fun knowing now what he is and seeing him move around on the ultrasound was an extraordinary experience. Below are some of the pictures we got. Don't feel bad if you can't figure out what you are looking at. I took a picture of the pictures because they wouldn't scan well. I look forward to being able to share better pictures of him once he is here.

The bottom of his foot is in the middle of the picture
with his toes pointing up.

His head is on the left and he is looking down.
His spine is at the top of the shot.

His head is on the left and you can see his stomach too.
I have dubbed this his "alien" shot.

His head is on the left looking up.

This is the only 4-D shot that came out.
He is curled up with his arm on the left touching his head
and his leg is curled up toward his face with his foot touching his head.

At this point he doesn't have a name. We have a few in mind and one that many people have said we should use. My brother has said that he disapproves of any other name except this one, so if we want to please Uncle James we may go with it. I promise to share what it is once we've made a decision. Just be aware that you may have to wait until he is born :)
