Can you believe it?

We went to the doctor yesterday and got the stats:

weight- 17 pounds 10 ounces (95th percentile and a weight gain of 3 pounds 13 ounces in 2
months)
height- 27 inches (97th percentile and he grew 1 inch)

We're so thankful that he is healthy and obviously thriving. We do think that he gained a pound in each leg this month since they are so chunky (I wonder where his knees are some days) and he didn't get a whole lot taller. He has changed a lot in just a month. Here are some of the things he is up to:

-he immediately smiles and Anthony and me when he sees us. If I'm holding him and Anthony is around and not looking at him, Graham will look at him until Anthony turns to see him and then he smiles really big. I love to watch the two of them and see how much Graham loves him.

-he loves his hands both to look at and suck. Everyday he changes his mind on which ones to suck. Some days its the thumb and some days it's two fingers on one hand and three on another (all at the same time)!

-he will hold things if you put them in his hands and occasionally reach for them. Anything put in his hands now goes right to his mouth

-he has learned to play with most of the toys on his saucer and does well spinning himself around on the johnny jumper

-he loves anything that moves and/or makes noise. When we go to Walmart he is especially intrigued by the Christmas decorations that sing and cards that play music

-he looks to see where I am if he hears me talking but doesn't see me. Many times he looks right past me, but at least he's looking :)

-most nights he's in bed by 9:00 and sleeps until 5:30-6:00 and then eats and goes back to sleep until 8:30-9:00

-gone are the days of sleeping in the swing and bouncy seat. He now gives us clear signs of needing to be put down for naps and is doing better everyday with falling asleep on his own

-he's very close to rolling over finally. He's getting a flat spot in the back of his head so hopefully it will improve once he moves around a little more
