Our ever constant refuge

We've been reading through the Bible chronologically this year as I mentioned in a previous post. It's been a really neat experience and I am especially enjoying our current section of reading where we get to read the Psalms in the midst of the events that led to them being written. I always thought it was impressive to see the faith that David put in God in the midst of his struggles (i.e.- Saul's desire to kill him), but to read the events and then see David's heart as he wrote a Psalm or two about it has left an even deeper impression with me. I hope that when trials and struggles come that I can praise God without any wavering or questioning. He is our ever constant refuge in the midst of all the ups and downs of life!!
