17 Months Today!!

On time for probably the first time! I often find myself thinking about what I want to post, but then end up reading other blogs or falling asleep on the couch so I never end up posting. Here's to not checking other blogs (anymore for tonight at least) and still being awake!!

Facts about Graham for this month

*He weighed 24 pounds 2 ounces at a doctor's visit two and a half weeks ago.

*He often asks for me to "re" (read) books to him.

*As always, he still loves to eat, including "ninner" (dinner)

*He loves to go and often gets his "cos" (crocs) when I ask him to.

*He still loves to play with "bas" (balls) and "cas" (cars)

*Last week he spent the morning playing with his friend "Ona" (Juliana) and even practiced sitting on the "pobby" (potty) while at her house. We really need to get the seat insert for him so we can teach him that our toilets are for sitting on and not splashing in.

*He loves to wear belts and has also walked around with random shirts on his head (see pictures above). He also loves to wear his "gov" (gloves) outside or around the house.

*He has learned to apply the signs and words "peaze (please) and "mo" (more) to things other than food. This mainly happens when Anthony is throwing him in the air or doing something else fun with him and he wants to keep doing it. He also likes to do it while I'm reading books to him before bed- I can't believe he is already trying to get out of going to sleep!

*He has started waving and saying "i" (hi) to people without being prompted. I guess now we'll have to start teaching him about strangers.

*He does a great job pointing to animals and objects in books. He will also say the names of some things as well.

*On Wed night during choir practice one lady shook his hand, so he proceeded to go down the rest of the row, shaking the other ladies' hands. Tonight he was asked to high-five someone and high-fived everyone in the room.

*He is transitioning from two 2-hour naps to one 2-3 hour nap a day. I'm still not sure how I feel about this one!

You'll like the 1 nap when you get used to it :)
