Counting and Memory Verses

A couple of weeks ago we found out that Graham knows how to count. While it's definitely a modified version of counting, he knows 2, sometimes 3, 5, 6, 9, and 10. For some reason he won't repeat any of the other numbers. Typically when I count with him I will say 1, he'll say 2. I say 2 and sometimes he'll say 3. I say 3 and he says 5. I say 4 and he says 5. This goes on until we get to 10. I think it's pretty impressive for a 19 month old (of course I'm the mom and have to think that :).

Anyway, the other day I was trying to get him to repeat, "Jesus died for my sins." He said it earlier in the day and I wanted to show my mom and sis that he could repeat it. He was doing really well until we got to the word "for." He responded by saying, "5." So the joke now is, "Jesus died 5 my sins!"
