This is a very, very late 19 month update or you could see it as an early 20 month update. Here are some of the things that are worth noting about our funny guy:
*He loves to watch his "eitine" (Baby Einstein) moonies (movies)
*He loves airplanes and helicopters. He got one of each at Toys R Us last week and especially likes to twirl the blades on the helicopter.
*He is also into big trucks and big tractors. To quality as a big truck or tractor it just has to be one. I guess we have to work on the concept of big.
*His counting skills seem to have decreased as he now only says 2, 5, 9.
*He loves songs with motions and is especially fond of "I'm a little teapot," "The itsy bitsy spider," and "I'm in the Lord's army."
*He is completely obsessed with going owti (outside). He asks all day long and even at night when it's time for bed!
*He finally has put it together that spankings are no fun and when asked if he wants one, he says no and then does what I ask. He still loves to throw food on the floor and regularly is disciplined for that.
*He says most any words that we ask him to and has been putting 2 or 3 words together for several weeks. His first two word phrases were, "hi daddy", "bye daddy", "more nannie" (banana). Now he uses two words most of the time. "No nigh-nigh" (night-night) is among his favorite to say.
*He received his first haircut at the barber shop last week (he's had two others at our house). He screamed through the whole thing but really enjoyed the lollipop he got at the end.
*He likes candy and cookies more than I'd like to admit, although I still think goldpish (goldfish) are his favorite.
