A Blog Recommendation
Most of you know I grew up in Lake Placid, a town that survives on having hosted the winter Olympics in 1932 and 1980. (In case you were wondering, I did not attend either of them. I wasn't born until 1981!) Since many of the facilities are still used and there is a training center there, many athletes pass through town. My parent's church has established several ministries involving these athletes. Because of this, their pastor has gotten to know many of them and is now in Vancouver working as a chaplain during the Olympics. He is blogging about what he is getting to experience. It's always refreshing to hear about how God is at work and he is writing about things that you certainly won't read about in the news. Click here if you are interested in what is going on.
