He received even more gifts for his actual birthday. Among the favorites were Toy Story from GG and G-Bob and Aunt Julia's yard sale finds that included an orange submarine looking thing, several small plastic frogs and a shark and whale for the bathtub.
I managed to get some great deals on gifts for him:
-a blue fleece blanket with a backhoe on it (on sale at Sears)
-2 Little Einstein DVD's (free from Swap a DVD)
-2 Little Einstein books ($1 ea at Walmart)
-Dress Up Joey magnetic puzzle (free with Swagbuck gift cards)
-pool ($4.99 plus 20% off at Kohl's)
-some other random gifts from the Dollar Store and Hobby Lobby ($6)
