Since Graham turned 3, he gets to do some new things at church. He was already in a Sunday School class and attending Mission Friends. Now he has left the nursery completely. He comes to the Sunday morning service with me and stays with us until the message. He then gets to leave and go to Children's Church. I've been pleasantly surprised by how well he has done. His most recent experience in the service prior to this included an outburst during a baptism in which he said, "Mr. Mark get out of the water!" He's also been known to try and get Daddy's attention while he is on stage leading worship. He has been quiet and our only issue is that at times he wants to lay down rather than sit up.
18 months ago our church started the Awana program and G is now old enough to be a Cubbie. I am so excited about this. He has already learned three verses and will hopefully say them for his leaders tonight so he can receive his vest. Here he is saying 1 John 4:10, Romans 3:23, and Romans 5:8:
