DC Adventure

A couple of days before Thanksgiving we went on a family adventure to the Air and Space Museum in DC. It began with a 1.5 hour train ride from MD to to Union Station. We then took two metro trains to get to the area that the museum was in. We had hot dogs from a street vendor on the walk to the museum and then began looking at the many exhibits. The boys did great. Graham walked most of the day and Reed was able to take two naps in his stroller. We finished the day with dinner at Chili's thanks to a gift card. It was a great family day and I'm so glad we did it.

Notes:
*I am greatly intrigued by space travel (Apollo 13 is still one of my favorite movies) so that is why so many pictures are of the space ships and rockets.
*I thought the fact about air travel costing half of what a new car cost in the early 1900's was very encouraging. While air travel is expensive at least it is not costing half of what a new car might cost now!
