We had planned to meet the Witt’s for pizza at the park for Graham’s birthday, but some van trouble changed the way the day turned out. I was upset, but he didn’t know any different. In the end it was a special day for him.
We started the day with Luke, Sarah, and Molly coming over for a small party. We had homemade cinnamon rolls and then the kids went on a scavenger hunt to find G’s gifts. Hidden at each clue was an item for Graham to put in each kids goodie bag.
The last clue led them back into the house where his gifts were waiting to be opened!
His gifts included bot shots, legos, Rush Hour Jr, Beyblade, and Star Wards Fighter Pods. They’re fun toys, but many have had to be put away for the time being because a certain little sister eats anything that is left on the floor!
Aunt Julia needed to head back to school to begin her fall semester of classes, so Paige and I took a quick trip to Nashville to meet up with some friends that would drive her back.
When we got home the van repair was completed, so the 5 of us squeezed into Anthony’s car and headed to Cookeville to pick it up. We finished the day with dinner at Outback.
