Double Digits

Graham is now 10 months old. He continues to be an incredibly happy little guy who has a whole new look on life now that he is mobile.

*He crawls everywhere and pulls up on chairs, couches, walls, trash cans, and anything else that is there.

*We are trying to teach him the words "no no" and to "obey mommy and daddy"

*Current "no nos" include standing by the entertainment center, standing on the pole lamp, and pulling hair. Others come on a regular basis, but these are consistent ones that he always goes back to!

*He loves to stand in his crib and would much prefer that to taking a nap. I've been rocking him to sleep so one of these days we'll have to work on teaching him how to lay down in his bed when I put him in there awake.

*He's a bit of a daredevil loving to be held upside down and spun in a circle. He also doesn't seem to think there are any problems with crawling off of the bed or changing table. I haven't let him figure out that both of those would hurt! Now he just needs to overcome his fear of vacuums and umbrellas.

*He loves food and tries to take mine from me if he can reach it. This month he has been introduced to chicken, cheese, egg yolks, plums, and raw peaches. He still only has his bottom two teeth but does a really great job chewing his food and is eating chunks of food more and more each day.

*He doesn't like to drink from a sippy cup but we will be working on this more now that he getting close to the one year mark and we can look to begin weaning him.
