Happy Birthday Jesus!

A few days before Christmas we went to the Bass' for a birthday party for Jesus. Her mom made a delicious ham dinner and Emily made a birthday cake. It was black (chocolate) to represent sin, red for the blood, and green for new life. The white icing represents our purity because of our forgiven sin. After all of the food we tried to get the kids to act out the nativity story. It was a great evening!
