If my understanding of percentiles is correct, then the number they give you means the child is bigger than that percentage of children. At Reed's 4 month check-up last week, he weighed 19 pounds 1 ounce and was 27 inches. Both of these measurements put him in the 100th percentile. So doesn't this mean that he is bigger than 100% of children, making him the biggest baby ever?
FYI: Graham was 17 pounds 10 ounces and 27 inches at 4 months.
