Our Anniversary Celebration

Smithville has many local country cooking restaurants. Certainly not the setting for a child-free romantic dinner. There is a restaurant that is on the water (as in it rocks with the waves because it was built on the water :), but they did not open for the season until the day after our anniversary. Since we couldn't eat there, we came up with an alternative. We sent the boys to friends houses (divide and conquer so as to not burden one person with both) and ate a meal together at home without them. I even pulled out the china we inherited from A's grandmother. I think it's the first or second time we've used it.

We were both pleasantly surprised by how relaxing the night was. We certainly plan to do this again. Anyone want to volunteer to watch two fantastic little boys? The first one to speak up gets to pick the one they want :)
